Hood status monitor doesn't light

Post by ngpsaki »

The system status monitor on the stove hood has stopped working. No lights at all. All the other switches are working fine, and the status monitor was working until it just quit displaying. I can't find anything on this forum about it. Any suggestions?

Check DC fuse panel inside the brown box? If the entire section (water, battery, black/grey and LP are down) went out like that, most likely it is the fuse).

Thanks for the reply. I'll check the fuzes, but none is labeled "Hood," or "Status Monitor," etc. And yes, all the indicators went out at once. But everything else on the stove hood works (light, fan, etc.)

The fuse that labeled "R/H Monitor" is 15 A, and it is the third one from the left on my 2000 Concourse.

If the fan/pump works, then it is not the fuse. You may need to take it apart and see if one of the wires came loose. Check the voltage at the monitor switch to make sure it is getting power, and go from there. Also make sure the switch itself works. After 20+ yrs, it is not unexpected to have something that broke.... Good luck.
