Double DIN wireless backup cam knowledge anyone?

You can access quite a few wires by removing the cardboard ceiling panel above the rear door. (push in the bottom then lift up and pull).

That's what I was hoping to do. I didn't see a button, though. I have two screws at the two top corners that I removed, but the panel didn't budge.

Also, you mentioned a yellow marker light. Mine are all red across the top. Are you referencing something different?

Sorry, red marker lights. There is no button. I was referring to pressing the panel itself, but it is really pushing "up" on the panel that is important.

My panel above the door got water damaged at some point before I owned it, so it is a little swollen at the bottom and might be a little easier to remove than others. There are two screws just above the door as SMan pointed out. I think the screws are supposed to capture the lip of the panel above. Remove those, and the panel lip is tucked in behind them, so you just push the panel up from the bottom until the lip clears, then pull it out to see behind. If you remove the trim piece at the very top (several screws, you can probably remove the whole panel, but if you pull it out from the bottom you can get behind it enough to see what is going on.

Awesome! I removed the top trim piece and was able to access. I think this could work. It pulled down from the top, but I didn’t remove the two screws right above the door. Once I get the parts ordered, and in, I’ll take the whole panel off. Nice! I think I’m going to go with a double din stereo replacement, hard-wired to the camera. More work, but I think it will be worth it. Thanks guys
