Well, I decided to sell my Chinook. It got to be all a little bit too much in the end but I wanted to say thank you and goodbye to you all. Your help and assistance and good humor were a very important memory and help to me and I won’t forget it. To a few of my friends: Clay, Blue, Hoosier, Chin, PaulD, Skillet, Manitou, Dave, Astro, 68Camaro, Sman, thank you.
I hope a brought a bit of help to you all as well. I’ll check in every now and again just to say hi but without a Chinook. Mine went to an incredible couple, two of the nicest people you would ever want to meet and I was THRILLED to see Jewels go to a new home.
See you on the road....dano

Dano--you easily gave as much as you got. You'll be missed around these parts. But good Chinookers never die...they just move on. Best of luck to you.

Speaking for myself, I think I got more out of you than vice versa. Good luck with your next adventure!

Well darn!
It was because of you that I ordered Monroes all around! See what you did there?
I'll probably get the damper too, but I'll do it myself.
If you don't mind my asking, what aspect became a little too much for you?
I believe that when I end up getting to repairing the MDF wood damage, I'll probably think the same thing!
What is your next project/hobby? I'll probably end up just perfecting my guitar playing, or Volks Marching and exercise, or gardening.
Not quite there yet. Then there's golf...

Do get the damper Astro, it was super cheap and about a 15 minute install, literally.Astrodokk wrote: April 12th, 2019, 3:06 pm Well darn!

I guess things just got complicated with so many systems on board you know? These things are a lot of work and I'm a terrible perfectionist so when something goes wrong, I really sweat the repairs and wan them to be special. I think I might just look for a smaller trailer, maybe even newer so I don't go down the project rabbit hole...those beds were a ton of work! Keep well my friend and thanks....dano
