Have to admit I’m a little nervious haha.
Thought it over this morning and think we’re going to go with one 43” wide window and keep some extra wall space in the kitchen. We’re planning on taking about 3 years off come fall and traveling full time in the camper so the extra storage options will be nice. Also thinking of redoing the dinette into a single side bench and building a vertical shelf/storage unit. Hard to explain but kinda like another closet unit where one side of the dinette is, connecting it to the top existing shelves. Therefore a single window with the new layout will probably fit better overall.
This is amazing! I love the Euro-style windows. You will be able to open them during the rain and get so much air flow.

Yea we’re excited for the new windows! Can’t wait to get this project done.
New door for the rig came in, need to take about 4” off the bottom but shouldn’t be too hard.

Blank slate!
Did you use purchased fiberglass board for the fill in piece? McMaster Carr? If so, what thickness did you settle on?
Yes, I went with a 1/8” sheet which is similar to the original wall thickness. My buddy who helped me works in Newport RI working on million dollar yachts, he ordered it from his supplier.
Started messing with the door today. Need to take 4” off the bottom of the new door. Removed the old door and started disassembling the new door, should be fairly easy to take the needed inches off the door. Didn’t have the correct tools with me today so I will be cutting and fitting tomorrow.
Door is all cut down! Was a little tricky figuring out the length of the frame, screen door, and door since they needed to all be cut to different lengths. Overall it wasn’t that bad. Took about 3-4hrs in total. Just have to install it now, need to get some butyl tape.
