City water hookup makes interior leaks.

SMan, how do you do it? I looked around for bolts or whatever holds the toilet down, but didn't see anything. Also, where did you get the replacement parts?

Here is a pretty good thread on another forum on fixing toilet leaks. I think the toilet referenced is like ours. Also, the toilet in the Premier is a different model from the porcelain toilet in the Concourse, but they are both Sealand, I believe.Astrodokk wrote: March 11th, 2019, 9:22 am SMan, how do you do it? Because I have the poor mans "pedestrian" Premier model it may not apply. (I say that in jest
) That said the plastic piece around the flush/fill mechanism is removable exposing the fasteners holding on the toilet.

I think people refers to the part "mushroom" in Concourse. For the Premier, lets just call it the pedestal. For me, it was pretty obvious to me how to remove the throne (Concourse that is, for Premier, it is just mere toilet seat), since it popped open when I drove over some rough back road. It is a plastic piece that wrap around the bottom part with taps and slots.

Finally got to the bathroom faucet and removed both cartridges.
Since I did not have hot water on at the time of my trip, I surmised that the cold side valve was the leaking culprit, but my gut told me to check the hot side too.
I found some red colored rubber material in the hot side orifices. Not sure if its a blown O ring or some kind of sealant, but I am replacing both sides to be safe.

Cold side open, hot side plugged...

Well it seems that the big box stores don’t carry this valve.
I’ll probably have to go to an RV shop or online.
I thought I’d clean it out first and see if that is the reason it leaked in the first place. I hope it works.

Re: City water hookup makes interior leaks.
The ceramic cartridge last a very, very long time, so you maybe just need some new black O-rings. Where does it leak? By removing the red plastic, it may fix the issue of a dripping faucet.

Re: City water hookup makes interior leaks.
It was leaking from the faucet spigot itself, not from around the handles, which would be an O ring issue.

Re: City water hookup makes interior leaks.
Yay, problem solved. Apparently the rubber tubing was keeping the system slightly open so by removing that piece, now it’s completely sealed and no leaks! I filled the water tank to half and turned on the water pump. All faucets work well now, and the pump cycles on after I use a faucet.
Now on to the toilet. I started a thread for that.
