Looking great! Can you post some inside pics of your vinyl front floor, planking, & remodeled/removed dinette/kitchen area?

i didnt take any pictures of the back because i was more interested in getting it finished so i could install the front floor matt and get everything back inside before the cold weather arrived. I will try to snap some of the back floor and post, i didnt remove the kitchen i just removed all of the dinette area and still am deciding how i want to lay that area out with a couple of cabinets and a countertop or what exactly. I plan to take out the factory stove cabinet and build one that covers that same floor space plus the exposed wheel well where the dinette couch was. I am procrastinating because my mind tells me if im going to do all of that then i may as well build all new cabinets and replace the vinyl covered fridge wall and shower walls while im at it. I will snap a pic of my new twin bed, it has enough storage underneath the mattress to store all of my tools that i use to carry around with me in tool boxes.... I got a bunch of plastic containers at bed and bath then sorted out all my sockets, ratchets, wrenches, metric and standard, screw drivers, pliers, drill bits, ect and put them all in seperate containers and put them in the storage area under the mattress above the water holding tank. I just never really had use for the dinette and my dogs needed the floor space.

Heres what pics i have, not sure what exactly what part it is you want to see. I yanked out the funky tranistion the previous owner had between the cab area and the back, i installed a regular threshold where the front vinyl floor meets the back floor. I used water proof rigid vinyl plank flooring in the back. You can see i took off all of the trim pieces on the walls and cabinets which i will reinstall once i decide what to do with the walls and cabinets. I saw absolutely no reason to cut or remove the seatbelt studs in the floor so you can see how i handled those, i did it this way because eventually they will be hidden under cabinets and i may use them to help secure the cabinets in place. The flooring is wall to wall, all of the carpet is gone except over the wheel houses which i will remove when i redo the cabinets. The water tank was removed and flooring installed and a rubber matt installed under the water tank to protect against vibration. The same type of material is under the rigid tool boxes on the dinette side to keep the floor from getting scratched until i finish the interior. I dont have a television, but i do have my laptop mounted on a swingarm so i can use it while in bed or sitting on the bed or even standing cooking a meal. Sorry about the mess but its a work in progress and its hard to keep everything spotless clean with two blue heelers. Oh and i mounted my solar controller, LVM and relay to the front of the bed, i will also be mounting a rough country multi relay junction box there as well. I wanted to have this interior done last year but it took forever to get some suspension issues ironed out first and i just dont like having to many irons in the fire at once. Interior is pretty simple to redo, the hardest part is deciding exactly what you want to do with it and then getting motivated to tear into it. My Dogs dont particularly care for being pushed aside while i work but they do like the extra floor space and the new bed

I have blankets over the side windows until i can get them tinted with one way tint.

ok heres a couple snaps of under the mattress. Kind of a hidden stash where a theif would look under the bed and see things and a water tank and assume theres nothing else there but a mattress

this is just one half of whats under the mattress. Green is metric, blue is standard.. I never go anyplace without tools. Oh by the way, its a false bottom under the tools as well so i can have full access to the water tank if needed, unlike the old jacknife sofa.

Probably not a setup for everyones taste but i fulltime in mine so im trying to make good use of all the space i have and making it functional for fulltiming versus having a dinette that consumes half the floor space and never gets used. I dont like the way the small microwave is installed in a massive square box at head level so im kicking ideas around for that also, the wall in front of the fridge has sucked up moisture over the years like a sponge so it needs to be taken out and replaced so i figure i may as well redo all of it at the same time and get rid of the MDF board. To me MDF and particle board are like carpet... they have no business being in an RV.

So what is the bin color for the adjustable wrench? Green or Blue?

Seriously, this is very nice, Doug. I like how organized you are. I hate the MDF, but I only have limited time, so I only can replace them when they start to fall apart. I was about to replace the carpet a few months ago with vinyl plank, but decided to postponed due to how heavy they are. I brought enough to cover the entire floor, and they weighted at least 200 #. These are the type that clicks together. Maybe there are lighter alternative?

i wouldnt want a lighter alternative personally in an RV. Mine click together as well, i purchased them over a year ago at home depot but just got around to starting the interior because i had so much to do mechanically first. I purchased a spare box of the flooring in case of changes when i do the cabinets. But my rear suspension is somewhat unusual in that it will never sag from extra weight like a leaf spring truck will. The adjustable wrench goes in the misc container of multi purpose tools such as sledge hammers and crow bars.
