I wish mine came with one. I was hoping there is a module in there, and all I need is a FOB. But after I flip the ignition from Lock to Run 8X, the power lock does not seem to do anything, so I probably do not have the module in there.
So my question is, do you think it is worth while to get the module from a junk yard and install it on the rig? I assume the module is on the pillar behind the driver seat.

Re: remote entry for Chinook
I believe the module (named marker? ..maybe) is under the dash to the left of the steering column. My memory is fuzzy on this. I had an issue where the doors would randomly unlock themselves (not good when you leave it in a parking lot for a few days). Turned out the module had another remote programmed that no longer existed in real life. For whatever reason, it would get confused and unlock. I had to go through the setup and program both "channels"(?) to the 1 real remote I had. I got an aftermarket remote later since the original was on it's last leg and I read somewhere it was easier to program the replacement if you had 1 still workings. I had a head of a time with it and if I needed to do it over again, I'd take it to some place that knew how to install them on ford e350's and just get aftermarket system from scratch.

Junkyard electronics can be sketchy. Mine did not come with power door locks. I installed actuators in the doors and I control them with an aftermarket wireless module mounted above the steering column. I think all said the materials were about 40 bucks. If yours has factory power door locks, you could wire in a new module pretty easily with just basic wiring skills. They're cheap, they have great range, and extra channels if you want to control a rear door actuator or cabin light or whatever. Check Amazon.
