Re: Chinook 4x4 7.3 Diesel
i used 99.9gl of Diesel on my 1269mile adventure. For overall average of 12.7mpg. I was pushing at a average of 70mph . I was able to maintain those speeds while crossing over many different Mountains and steep grades.
I'm looking forwards to putting a cold air intake and a tuner on this 7.3 PSD. Hopefully this will increase both my mileage and Power.

Looking nice! Great to see some glamour shots in the dirt. Should be a lot of fun, enjoy.

Last night I thought that I would set up the Full bed just to know what it was like b4 I hit the road. I’m amazed how large it is ! This is going to be Great !

Update; I now have the fresh water tank cleaned out and Sanitized. It's working as it should. I'm still futzing with the Fridge but I feel that I'll have it up and running properly soon.
Unfortunately I have a feeling that my 2 house batteries might be near their shelf life ? They just don't seem to hold their charge as long as they should. Unfortunately they don't have a Date of purchased marked on them ?
I took the Mrs out for a quick overnighter to Jalama Beach up on the California Coast. She was instantly in Love ! She couldn't believe how nicely appointed this rig is. We had a Great Time !
Now for her ONLY Complaint. People Never Stopped coming by Checking Out The Rig ! There was a constant flow of Campers stopping by and asking questions ! She said There's always someone looking at it ! We don't have many Rigs like this in SoCal.

What brand is your battery? Some manufacturers use date code that is branded into the case.

Re: Chinook 4x4 7.3 Diesel
My two batteries are fairly new but had almost critical low level of water in them when rig bought. I had filled with water then tested along with all connections and discovered smart solenoid shot, new one being picked up today or tomorrow.
I would have checked out before replacing.
