ever heard of a rare twin bed model 2000 Concourse??

Post by Flame »

Ok everyone,in researching e-bay came across a add for "Rare twin bed model that makes into a king" This is a 2000 Concourse that basically looks like my 1998. Has anyone heard of this model? Does it really exist or is this something someone fabricated. If it is real...That is how I want to convert my 1998 model to!! It looked to have a regular couch on one side and a jackknife couch on the other. They don't SHOW how it makes into a king bed. Help please? I would love to do it to mine. I just looked at it so ya'll might want to check e-bay out to see what I am seeing.

We have a 2005 Concourse with twin beds, but doesn't convert to a king. It's like 2 "couches" just the twin mattress with big angles back cushions (there are 4, we leave 2 at home) We love the twins. No climbing over each other to use the loo. And, I use pieces of cardboard to roll the bedding up and just put the back cushion in front to hold it out of the way. We can make or unmake our bed in a minute or 2 at the most.

I wonder if anyone insert something between the twin beds to make it into one queen bed. But I guess that defeat the advantage of having two twin beds in the first place.

We have a 1990 twin bed model. Here's what it looks like.

I have a 2000 twin bed. The key to creating the king bed is the side cushions. If you lay them end to end and side by
Side they fit snugly in the walkway, between the twin beds. Then you slide the mattress cushions together and there
You have it.

How is the side cushions supported if you lay them over the walkway? Will it feel too soft in the middle of the king bed configuration?

The side cushions are very firm, same density as the mattress cushions.BTW they make lousy pillow. Between the frame work and floor they have no room to expand, you dont sense any soft spot.
