Do Premiers have same Drivetrain as Concourse?

Post by b6fischer »

A big selling point for me was the Concourse 4.10 limited slip rear differential.

Do Premiers have the same rear rear differential?

I cant imagine Chinook would have ordered different cut-aways for their various models.

I have a 2004 Premier and, yes, it does have the limited slip differential. I can't remember the number, but did confirm the limited slip via the numbers on the vehicle ID tag (with the help of a gear-head friend who was able to tell me what everything meant).

My Premier has a Dana 70, 4:10 gears, non-LSD.

My rig was ordered with zero options, like zero, so that might be why it's not limited slip.

My Premier has a Limited Slip Diff and it is a 4:10 gear ratio.
