That fuel injected Onan sounds sweet. Model #2.8HGLAA-8303. $3400 yikes! I have had numerous problems with mine. Carbs suck. It is working great now though.

I paid $3000 for the new 4000 watt i bought 3 years ago, and i bought it at Onan in Minniapolis so there was no freight involved.
I would have gladly paid another $400 had a fuel injected unit been available back then. There can only be one reason a company like onan
would keep building carb generators despite fuel injection being widely available for decades now. Thats because they make as much money selling parts to dummies like you and me as they do selling the generators.

I t appears that part # 6C24-9H307-CB is the fuel pump for E350 2004-2008, so it is not the correct one for my 1999. I appreciate you putting up pictures of it because it can't be too different plus the part # may help someone else.

The replacement carb is like $300 which is insane. I tried cleaning my carb multiple times and finally replaced it. I put a shutoff valve in and run it dry when I'm storing the RV.

That is exactly what I did when I done for the season, and my rig is just right at the drive way. It would be a big hassle if I need to go to a storage every month to exercise the rig.

The shop was unable to source the whole fuel pump assembly, but replaced the pump and the hose. The RV starts right up now, but still has issues with running lean. I opened another thread about that issue. Thanks everyone!

Pretty much every Concourse came with an genset. There were only a few what was order without one.
Yup, they were rated at 3.8kw. I want to say its a 4.0 that was retro-ed to propane and called the 3.8 for the slight power reduction for running on propane. I could be wrong. Haven't had a gas 4.0 right in my face or side by side to compare it to. I will say I have been very happy with the propane 3.8kw

The propane version is almost identical to the gas, with exception of a few parts, such as no fuel filter in the propane, and no solenoid in the gasoline. The propane is always rated less due to lower specific energy of propane compare to gasoline. I wish mine is running on propane, since it does not have the carburetor issue, and no need to worry about keeping the gas level above 1/4 tank (for us, it does not seem to start unless we have 1/3 tank).
