Re: Tires
A handful of the Quigley conversions came with 235 85 16; Most came with 235 75 16
Re: Tires
Well after not really getting any definite answers about if 235/85/16 tires will fit a stock 2wd Chinook Baja
I bought them anyway and put them on the rig. No issues, I drove from Boise Idaho to Fletcher North Carolina
with no issues at all. If all goes well I will have a 4x4 Chinook Baja before Christmas.

Re: Tires
Thank you for being a guinea pig for us. It is great that you came back and let us know the result. You will help the next Baja Bilo. Did you have any issue with the speedometer, or any dramatic change in fuel economy?

Re: Tires
Glad this will help someone down the line. My speedo is about 3 mph off. If it says 65 my GPS shows 68.
I got between 10 and 12 mpg.
Re: Tires
I had been running the 235/85-16 BFG KO2 tires for quite some time. There are no issues running them. I have a full set of BFG KO2 tires in that exact size nearly new that i had to remove when i converted to 4x4. The 4x4 swap required 17 inch wheels to clear the front brake calipers.
