Thanks, Manitou, for your continued effort on this site on everyone's behalf.

Re: 1997 Premier - add backup camera
Hi,
Mine is old enough that they might not have had bigger monitors yet.
Where and how to mount the thing may be a more complex problem with a large one.
I see some mirror/monitor combinations that they did not have back then.

Re: 1997 Premier - add backup camera
Russell, Here is what I installed on my 1998 Premier: < https://www.rearviewsafety.com/safety-solutions/backup-camera-system-for-ford-econoline-vehicles-model-rvs-770923.html> A wired model that has worked well for 6 years or so. Re: Full winterization really necessary?
Bobw9,
Thanks for mentioning that. That could be a vulnerability in my minimal practice. I have not used the shower in there for a while, so maybe it has cracked already.
Writing a sticky note to myself now.

Re: Full winterization really necessary?
Chinnin, I keep my'98 Premier in Western Washington, where winter temperatures are moderated by Puget Sound salt water. It will freeze, but not usually deeply nor for long. I have not winterized for years other than keeping a 600 Watt oil filled mini heater on low when it is freezing. I open the hin...

Re: Help Needed: Spare Tire Mount Bracket
My spare tire mount is on a shelf in the barn because I installed a front trailer hitch and a hitch mounted spare carrier.
I read about this mod here per Mr. Blue. The new weight distribution might be beneficial. I have not experienced any diminished engine cooling.

Re: Bath entrance plastic trim
I found that you can google specific subjects using Chinook RV, etc in search terms...then find links among the results,to discussions in this forum.
Sometimes the other results give good information, too.
